We picked mom and dad Owens up from the airport on Wednesday morning. They came bearing many gifts for their newest grandson from friends and family. James did very well during the drive. He went right to sleep and stayed that way for most of the trip. Today, mom and I just chilled out at home while the menfolk took the rented car on various errands. In addition to renting a scale with which to weigh the baby they made a big trip to IKEA. Dad is hooked, and we'll all go again tomorrow so mom can see it too.
